As in a previous post regarding the Manley business card, another part of history was discovered. Apparently, the model 49 serial number 8937 was used in the Grove Theater, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. That determination was made from a package of parts ordered from Mrs. Bevel from the Manley company which was discovered inside the machine. It appears Mrs. Bevel had a flex housing on her kettle get twisted and bound up the shaft cable. She ordered one flex housing shaft and three cable shafts. Here are pictures of the invoice and parts. There is no date on the invoice and the outside packaging is faded with age. However, the address of the Manley Company uses 64 as a zone which dates the package prior to 1963.
