I make popcorn every week. I also do a quick cleaning after every batch. I keep a soft, 3-inch paint brush in one of the drawers, and use it to sweep the remaining bits of popcorn and salt from the pan into the old maid grate and collection bin. It only takes seconds, and then you can easily wipe down the pan with a cloth or paper towel.

I totally agree Marcus. I clean my popper after every batch. I use soft towels and a small shop vac to keep the machine clean. I also clean all the glass after popping. I hate a dirty popcorn machine.

I have a piece of wood covering my old maid grate. When I load my soda machine with beer, I take the cardboard packaging and lay it out on the pan. The cardboard piece goes from glass to glass laterally. When the popcorn is gone, I recycle the oiled cardboard. Zero cleaning remaining. zoz
